Church history
Our Story of Faith and Fellowship.
Calvary Independent Baptist Church began with a vision of faith and a desire to glorify God. Founded in 1974, our church was established by a group of believers committed to sharing the gospel and building a community of worship.
Through the years, we have grown in faith, fellowship, and outreach, always striving to be a beacon of light in our community. Today, we remain rooted in the same mission: preaching the Word, loving others, and glorifying Christ.

Our Leadership Team
At Calvary Independent Baptist Church, we are blessed with faithful leaders who are passionate about teaching God’s Word and shepherding His people.
Pastor Jamie Colbert
Pastor Jamie Colbert brings a heart for biblical teaching, shepherding, and inspiring spiritual growth within our congregation. His dedication to preaching the truth of God’s Word with clarity and compassion strengthens our church family.
His wife, Tam Colbert, plays an integral role in ministry leadership, offering encouragement, wisdom, and a nurturing spirit to those she serves. Together, they are devoted to leading others into a deeper relationship with Christ, building community, and advancing the mission of the gospel.
Youth Pastor Josh and Amy Durden
Our Youth Pastor, Josh, and his wife, Amy, serve with energy, passion, and a heart for shaping the next generation of believers. Their dedication to guiding young people into a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ is evident through dynamic teaching, engaging activities, and mentorship rooted in biblical truth.
Together, they foster a welcoming environment where teens are encouraged to grow in their faith, build strong Christian friendships, and develop leadership skills that equip them to live boldly and shine the light of Christ in their daily lives.

Children’s Ministry

LIFE Teens

A dynamic, Christ-centered program for teens, focused on spiritual growth, discipleship, and fellowship.

Men’s and Women’s Ministries

Opportunities for spiritual enrichment, fellowship, and service for men and women of all ages.
Missions and Outreach
We support over 30 missionaries world-wide financially with both monthly support and special projects.
Music Ministry
Worship through music that glorifies God and uplifts the congregation.
Senior Adult Ministry
Meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month for food and fellowship, as well as potential ministry projects. On the 3rd Thursday of each month, visits are made to a local Senior Living Center to minister in song and share the Word of God.
